DualScope

Nanoscale scanning electrochemical analysis system

Innovative and Customizable Solution for High Spatial Resolution Electrochemical Scanning:

Eaglenos DualScope has achieved the optimal balance between spatial resolution, sensitivity, and scanning speed, offering a groundbreaking solution for high spatial resolution electrochemical imaging and three-dimensional molecular localization analysis.

Equipped with an all-solid-state scanning electrochemical probe, DualScope eliminates the constraints of liquid electrochemical cells, enabling in-situ analysis of surface morphology, electrochemical characteristics, and marker molecules in materials and biological samples (cells and tissues), both in dry and wet states.

The DualScope system integrates a scanning nano-positioning system, an optical micro-imaging system, a control system, a data acquisition system, and a modular, customizable design. This comprehensive setup ensures precise and adaptable electrochemical scanning for diverse applications.

Key features:

Multiple Information Acquisition:

  • Capable of co-imaging the surface morphology, electrochemical characteristics, and molecular features of biological samples and materials, achieving high-spatial-resolution molecular three-dimensional localization.

Integration of Multiple Scanning Imaging Modes:

  • Automatic switch between SECM, SICM, and SECCM modes, adapting to different sample detection needs, including solid materials and biological samples, allowing scanning in both liquid and gas media.

High Flexibility and Customizability:

  • An open system with modular design, tailor-made to the needs of researchers, integrating third-party instruments (such as fluorescence and electrochemical luminescence), accommodating different research requirements.

High Spatial Resolution:

  • Utilizing the all-solid-state scanning mode, achieving XY spatial resolution of 20 nm and Z spatial resolution of 5 nm for ultra-precision imaging results.

Fast and Precise Positioning System:

  • The linear positioning system, based on advanced piezoelectric motors, offers an extended working distance while maintaining a compact footprint.
